Murudeshwar

DSC_8293 (Lightroom)

Photography at Murudeshwar, was indeed challenging. Climate was unpredictable, suddenly the climate would be sunny then immeditely it would start to rain, then sunny again and then cloudy for the remaining time. I had to make good use of the white balance setting and that helped me immensely in finding out the right light for the right photograph.

Since we were there for 3 days, I had some time to do scouting and find out more about the locations and the kind of compositions that I need to work on. I did this on the first day itself, that is, Sep 17th, The whole process took about an hour and the evening shot ( of the family retreating back home ) was the result of this work.

Once I got a good grasp of the location, then next two days, I spent a lot of time around the temple and the beach with my camera, looking for the right shots.

Since most of the temple and the shiva ornaments had a yellow tinge, I shot most of those photos in the evening time. sea shots were done during the mid afternoon
