I have heard that photography is one of the most expensive hobbies one can have. But I don’t have that kind of cash to start with. Can I still take good photos ?
My friend, photography is about passion. The passion to share your feeling with other people, just like singing or dancing. I would strongly disagree with the statement that it requires thousands of rupees/ dollars.

I do agree that lot of gear costs money. But you don’t have to buy all of them. Start with a basic point and shoot or even a DSLR. Make learning your best friend. Soak up whatever you can from different sources and try to implement what you can

Never head for the latest or the coolest gear without fully understanding its relevance and how it impacts the photos that you intend to take. As someone once said, if the greatest and costlier gear always gave you good photos, then the riches photographers in the world would be taking the best shots. You and I know that, that’s not the case.  I can only ask you to research and read a lot for any buying decision
