When I came to know about the conference of Swamiji’s of Ramakrishna matt being organized at Dharwad, namely ‘Vivekananda, Bhawa Prachara Parishath’, which was held on Dec 29, 30 and 31st. I wanted to go for, Dec 30th and 31st and get a chance to meet these amazing people and hopefully get a chance to talk to them.

Bus came at Anand Rao circle at 10:00PM from Madiwala.I chose Anand Rao circle because of the probably less traffic. I got in the auto and we chose the route through M G Road, Vidhana Saudha and then below race course road. Even with moderate traffic, we covered 8.5 km in 25 minutes. I got down, outside the bus stand and came inside and sat. It was drizzling a little bit.

Ambika was already in the bus and waved at me. I was so happy to see her. We had dinner together, which I had brought. Bus started at 10:20 PM – sleeper without AC. It was a Godsend, because I had the cough, and was worried if it might increase if I had to travel by AC.

The bus had very comfortable beds with stand for the laptop bag. Curtains were neat and curtains existed for both the seat as well as the window. Ambika sat next to me and we spoke for some time. After that, I went to the upper birth, which was L16. It was the first time, we were traveling such long distance together. Ambika had brought a thin as well as a thick blanket along with her and she gave me that. I felt very comfy

Next day early morning we reached Dharwad
