Trivandrum Journey
13th August 2016 – Started from home at 5:50 AM. Got Uber cab at 6:05 AM. Reached airport at 6:45 AM. Our car was handpicked for SPECIAL security check. Took about 3 minutes.

33 kms in total. Went through metro cubbon station, Raj Bhavan, Hebbal and airport road. Just before the airport, there is a slight turning to the left, with no board, and that takes you to airport

At the first gate, they check your ticket and id card. Then you may be lucky enough for a special baggage check. Then head on to collect your ticket. Indian airlines is at the end, counter number 64. Flight was Airbus A319

If you’ve already done web check-in, then just go to the counter and pick up a tag and put it on your bag. No other procedures required

After this take the stairs and proceed to left ( domestic check-in). Here all the bags will go through security check. Keep mobile and wallet in the carry in bag. If you’re carrying laptop or laptop charger or mobile charger, keep that in the plastic tray.

Double check if all the items are back in the bag.

Now head onto lounge. It was 3, which was one floor below. The counter closes 30 minutes before departure. Nowhere else, do they check for timing

Journey takes 40 minutes. Cabin crew was very pleasant .

Plane started at 8:00 am and reached at 8:47 am. The whole time, sun was on the left . Cabin was pretty clean and they served free breakfast. Flight charge was around 4,000

An interesting thing to note is that, Air india / Indian airlines, passengers come out of the international terminal, that is terminal 2 and not domestic terminal( like other flights) when I reached, there was a huge crowd of people waiting for expats from Gulf

Met Divya and Remya at kanakakunnu entrance. Kanakakunnu has changed a lot. I could find lot of couples there. So it was difficult for us to find a place there. Both of them looked so happy today. Both came in their cars, which was quite impressive. We talked for a long time about job, current life as well as the plans for future. It was just like the days at NIIT. I almost felt as if nothing has changed. then at 6:20 Remya left. Divya told me, and me and Divya went to an art gallery
